General
What is QRCompose?
QRCompose lets you create smart, interactive QR experiences — menus, forms, link trees, business cards, multi-step apps, and full event operations — without writing code.
How does QRCompose differ from traditional QR generators?
Unlike simple QR tools, QRCompose creates dynamic pages you can edit after publishing, connect in apps, and track with analytics, submissions, and payments.
Do I need a developer?
No. The Designer V3 canvas and App Builder are fully no-code.
QR Codes & Pages
Can I edit a page after publishing?
Yes. Published QR codes remain valid — edits reflect instantly on all scans.
What happens if I delete a page?
Deletion permanently removes data including analytics and submissions. The QR code stops working.
Can I point a QR code to an external website?
Yes. Choose an external URL when creating or editing a QR code destination.
Can I reuse a QR code?
You can edit or relink it with new content. Once deleted, its short link becomes inactive.
Components & Features
Which page types are available?
Link Trees, Menus, Business Cards (vCard), Forms, Bookings, Events, Reviews, Galleries, Music, Video, PDFs, Business Pages, Payments, Websites, and Instagram pages.
What are Apps?
Apps connect multiple pages together (e.g., Menu → Payment → Review). Data passes automatically between steps. Apps were formerly called Flows.
What are conditional redirects?
Rules that send users to different destinations based on device type, location, or time. See Conditional Redirects.
Subscriptions & billing
Is there a free plan?
Yes. New accounts get a permanent Free plan — no automatic expiry. Free includes unlimited drafts, one published app, and pages/forms publishing.
What are the paid plans?
Starter, Advanced, Pro, and Enterprise unlock more published apps, team members, AI credits, and capabilities (menus, bookings, payments, API, white label). See Plans & Billing.
What is the preview trial?
Free accounts can start a 7-day Advanced preview from subscription settings. A card is required. If not converted, the account returns to Free and premium assets are paused.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from subscription settings. Access continues until the billing period ends.
What happens on downgrade?
Assets requiring capabilities you no longer have are selectively paused (not deleted) and can be restored on upgrade.
Events & portal
How do events work?
Create an event page in the designer, then manage programme, attendees, and check-in from the Events section. Publishing requires an event licence — separate from your SaaS subscription.
What is the Guest Portal?
Attendees sign in at portal.qrcompose.com to access digital passes, agendas, profiles, and networking. Guests are auto-provisioned when organisers add attendees with email addresses.
Do attendees receive a portal invite email?
Not automatically at launch. Organisers should share the portal URL. Attendees sign in via OTP with their registered email.
AI
What is AI Copilot?
A page-aware assistant in Designer V3 that helps configure your current design. Requires AI credits (Starter plan and above).
What is AI Builder?
A workspace at /designer/build for planning and creating complete experiences from a brief. Outputs drafts for review before publishing.
Payments
Which payment methods are supported?
Stripe for card payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Can I use dynamic pricing?
Yes. Contextual payments calculate totals from menu orders or bookings in an app.
Is payment data secure?
All payments are processed via Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). QRCompose never stores card data.
Analytics
What analytics are tracked?
Visits, unique visitors, geography, devices, referrers, and conversions (submissions, payments, reviews).
Where do I view analytics?
Dashboard for overview; per-QR, per-page, and per-app insights from their respective list views.
Are analytics real-time?
Yes, updated in near real-time.
Submissions
Which components collect submissions?
Forms, Menus (orders), Bookings, Reviews, and Payments.
Can I export submissions?
Yes. Use Export CSV in the submissions view.
Are submissions private?
Yes. Encrypted at rest and accessible only to your account.
Troubleshooting
My QR code doesn't open the page
Check the page is published and not deleted. If part of an app, ensure all connected pages are valid.
My payment or booking app doesn't connect
Follow app validation rules. Menus need orders enabled; bookings need price > 0; payments must be contextual for dynamic pricing.
Images or files not loading
Ensure files are under size limits and in supported formats (JPG, PNG, MP3, MP4, PDF).
Can I restore deleted content?
No. Deleted pages, apps, and submissions are permanently removed.
